About the Project
Meridian worked with the client/owner Foundation Armor to provide comprehensive site/civil engineering, land surveying, wetland delineation, soil mapping, local/state permitting and construction services for the new headquarters of Foundation Armor in Amherst, NH.
The project involved redeveloping a reclaimed gravel excavation site located at 4 Howe Drive in Amherst, NH to constructing a single 22,250 sf building (20,000 square foot warehouse and 2,560 square foot office), parking, landscaping, lighting and associated utility connections and stormwater control measures. Meridan assisted Foundation Armor by obtaining a Non-Residential Site Plan Permit, Driveway Permit, and a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for wetland buffer impacts from the Town of Amherst; Alteration of Terrian (AoT) permit and ISDS Construction approval (Septic System) from New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services NHDES (NHDES); and a Notice of Intent (NOI) for the 2022 NPDES Construction Permit from the EPA.
Construction began in the spring of 2024 and concluded in the December 2024. Meridian worked in tandem with the general contractor PROCON, along with their Site Contractor Mountainshade to get the site completed and ready for a late opening.
