Some key roles and requirements are the following:
Civil Engineer
Candidates must have a BS in Civil Engineering, passed the FE exam, PE license and have experience in the field. Candidates should have solid technological background and strong organizational, communication and computer skills, including CAD experience.
Survey Instrument Operator
Candidates should have a minimum of six months of similar experience or have an associate degree in surveying, engineering science or related studies. The ability to work year-round in all types of weather conditions with a high degree of individual responsibility and a team attitude are required.
Survey Crew Chief
Candidates should have strong knowledge & experience with a variety of survey types, including; boundary, topographic, route, layout and as-built/certifications, with a minimum of two years of similar experience. While an associate degree in surveying or engineering science is preferred, it is not required. The ability to work year-round in all types of weather conditions with a high degree of individual responsibility and a team attitude are required.
Survey Project Technician
Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Carlson Civil Suite software programs with a minimum of one year of similar experience. While Surveyor in Training certification or an associate degree in surveying or engineering science is not required, it is preferred. The ability to work on a wide variety of survey types with a high degree of individual responsibility and a team attitude are required.
Survey Project Manager
Candidates need to be proficient in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Carlson Civil Suite software programs, hold a Surveyor in Training certificate and have a minimum of two years of similar experience. Although an associate degree in surveying or engineering science is not required, it is preferred. The ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide variety of survey types with a high degree of individual responsibility and a team attitude are required.
